Assistant's to The SASI/ASI
Corps Commander
As our Corps Commander my job is, maintaining appearance, discipline, efficiency, training and conduct of the group. Planning and coordinating all group activities, facilities, and resources. Ensuring all cadets have the opportunity to develop their leadership/managerial abilities. Coordinating with the Aerospace Science Instructors. Conducting, as a minimum, a monthly group staff meeting. Permanent Member of the Flying Tigers Chapter of the Kitty Hawk Association. And ensuring a yearly calendar of events is prepared.
Vice Commander
My job as our AFJROTC's Vice Commander is, commanding of the group during absence of the Corps Commander. Supervising the group staff. Administration of group headquarters. Performing other duties as assigned by the Corps Commander. And attending/conducting monthly group staff meetings.
Special Assistant
As a special assistant my duties consist of, formulating and administering the Annual Military Ball. Formulating and administering the Annual Dinning - out. Performing other duties as assigned by the SASI or ASI. And when requested, attending the monthly group staff meeting.
Senior Enlisted
As our groups Seniorenlisted my job is, providing recommendations to the Corps Commander after input from cadets as liaison between the cadets and the group staff. Advising the Corps Commander on problems with the corps and suggesting possible solutions. Performing other duties as assigned by the Corps Commander. And Attending monthly group staff meetings.
Squadron Commander
My job is to, oversee activities of subordinate staff functions. Preparing the cadet group master operations plan. Preparing weekly operation orders. Ensuring training goals are met by each cadet. Performing other duties assigned by the Corps Commander or Vice Commander. Attending a monthly staff meeting. Overseeing training, standardization, and drill and ceremonies for the squadron. Overseeing the Flight Commanders. Acting as liaison between Flight Commanders and group Staff. Maintain a roster of all reserve cadets. Attend all group staff meetings.
Kitty Hawk Commander
As Kitty Hawk Commander our objective of the Flying Tigers Chapter of the Kitty Hawk Association is to promote higher academic standards, be of service to the school and community, promote self - confidence, develop leadership ability, encourage, academic excellence, and further educational development in the post - high school years.
Personell Commander
As Personnel Commander the duties I have to uphold are, maintaining cadet records following guidelines established by the commander and the SASI/ASI. Making cadet assignments as directed by the commander. Keeping the cadet group organization chart current with correct names, ranks, etc. Performing other duties as assigned by the Corps Commander and the SASI/ASI. When requested, attend monthly group staff meetings. Maintaining cadet personnel files, adding new cadets to the file as they join AFJROTC and deleting cadets from files who leave AFJROTC. Serving on cadet boards as needed. Documenting promotions/ ribbons in personnel records. Planning, coordinating, and maintaining records for all AFJROTC co - curricular activities to include cadet flight competition statistics.
Logistics Officer
My job as out Logistics Officer is maintaining a complete inventory of uniform items. Providing our Corps Commander with a monthly inventory of all accountable uniform items. Establishing transportation and other logistical requirements for group activities. Performing other duties assigned by Corps Commander. Attend the monthly group staff meeting.
Public Affairs
My job as our Public Affairs Officer is preparing, publishing, and distributing a group yearbook and scrapbook. Submitting new articles to news media (newspaper, TV, school announcements, Radio, etc). Providing all group photographic support. Assisting briefer in graphic support (slides, etc.). Performing other duties as assigned by Corps Commander. Always attend out monthly group staff meetings. And Submit AFJROTC not to school newsletter.
P.T. Officer
As our P.T. Officer I am in charge of planning and organizing all physical training in the corps. organizing and training the P.T. Team. Preparing all Summer Leadership School candidates and scholarship nominees for taking the physical fitness test. Planning and directing AFJROTC Day activities. Ensure proper care and accountability of all athletic equipment. Ensure safety and fairness in all sports activities. Maintain parent permission slips for physical training. Perform other duties as assigned by the commander and the SASI/ASI.
Financial Management Officer
As the Financial Manger my job is, Assisting SASI/ASI in establishing cadet financial management procedures and maintaining cadet funds. Maintaining accurate, descriptive, and up-to-date records of all financial transactions. Assisting SASI/ASI and the cadet staff in planning, organizing, controlling, and coordinating fund drives. Ensuring strict and efficient operations of the AFJROTC canteen to include restocking refrigerator and accountability of drinks and money. Performing other duties as assigned by the commander and the SASI/ASI. Always attend monthly group staff meetings.
